What is Code To Learn?

Code To Learn is a TakingITGlobal project funded by the CanCode initiative of the Canadian government. We are funded until March 31, 2024!

Therefore, there is no cost for Canadian schools or educators to access these services.

Code To Learn offers free LYNX coding software, micro:bits, Climate Action Kits, and more to Canadian students and teachers to help them acquire coding, robotics, and computational thinking skills—while developing global competencies. We support educators in diverse subject areas such as language arts, visual arts, science, social studies, and mathematics—leveraging coding activities to meet broad cross-curricular goals. These workshops can be full-day, half-day, or after-school, and can include Saturdays. (Obviously, with the pandemic, we are offering 'virtual services'!)

Take advantage of these wonderful opportunities!

How Do I Participate?
